Our History
The Corsini Tintori Palace
The Corsini Tintori palace was built in 1867 by Prince Tommaso Corsini, in the city that was the capital at that time, on one of the main streets where the dyers were concentrated, where their factories were located and their work was exhibited. The façade is fully decorated with graffs and inside there are splendid frescoes decorating the ceilings of the noble rooms overlooking the street of the painters (Via dei Tintori).
The palace is located in the Santa Croce district, the oldest heart of Florence, 100 meters away is the Plaza de Santa Croce (one of the main squares of the city), a square where, from the Middle Ages to today, carries out a historic event for citizens and tourists: FIORENTINO FOOTBALL (Calcio storico Fiorentino). We also find the Basilica of Santa Croce, an example of Italian Gothic, a church in which are the remains of illustrious men of history such as Michelangelo, Machiavelli, Galileo, Foscolo, Rossini and others.
